Bank of Ireland Startup Awards 2014

The Pharmapod Team attended the Bank of Ireland Start Up Awards 2014, last Thursday, October 23rd. We received two awards: Gold in Women in Business Startup of the Year and Silver in Innovative Startup of the Year.    Over 700 SME's entered the competition and many were represented at the Awards Ceremony. Preventing ‘Alert Fatigue’

An article in CBC News Canada yesterday highlights the importance of preventing 'Alert Fatigue' in pharmacies. A Go Public Report into the death of Helena Lambert, 76, in British Columbia, Canada, found that important warnings about the interaction between two of the medications dispensed were missed, even though software used in the pharmacy would have flagged the potential for an adverse reaction. In the article the reporter acknowledges that more than 30,000 pharmacists work across Canada, and they prevent similar issues from occurring every day. GRLS Version 2.0 Launch

The Pharmapod System GRLS has been upgraded from Version 1.0 (V1), to Version 2.0 (V2).   Some of the important changes include: 1.
