Pharmacy Voice Launches Patient Safety Survey

Pharmacy Voice is currently running an anonymous survey for all community pharmacies across England. The aim of the survey is to gather views on the current patient safety incident reporting and learning processes that are in place.

Pharmacy Voice is very concentrated on promoting patient safety throughout the healthcare industry. They want community pharmacies to have access to support and guidance when it comes to improving patient safety and also give them the platform to share their knowledge among their peers on how pharmacy teams can further improve patient experiences and outcomes.

Pharmacy Voice are encouraging more reporting of patient safety incidents and improving feedback and are looking into changing regulation to support this. The organisation have even established a Patient Safety Group. This group are very passionate about driving the patient safety agenda and look at developing practical solutions to the daily issues faced by pharmacies.

The Community Pharmacy Patient Safety survey will act as basis for their discussions with key national stakeholders including the GPhC and NHS England.
